As the Communications Content Writer, Julianne works closely with staff across the organization to shape content for Defenders' blog, “Wild Without End,” and crafts and implements engaging copy for critical external audiences on the website. She is crucial to conveying the stories Defenders has to tell about wildlife, conservation, policies and other pressing environmental issues.

Julianne holds a BA in strategic communications from Elon University and a master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University.
