Raised in Texas, Paul Sanchez-Navarro holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science, with his Master’s from the University of New Orleans focusing on International Relations. Throughout his career in the environmental field, Paul has worked in many different areas, from developing and coordinating national environmental policy strategies for NGOs, directing a local organization on the Mexican Caribbean and teaching a masters course on Sustainable Coastal Tourism in Mexico to evaluating conservation projects on three continents. Most recently, Paul was the director of the Mexican Center for Nature Conservation and worked towards building citizen stewardship through education, communication and public policy efforts.
