Ragen Davey received her Master of Science degree in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Alaska - Fairbanks and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from East Carolina University. After school, Ragen spent over 2 years in Alaska's arctic working on contamination and pollution removal and assessments. Additionally, she worked with Alaska Native Tribes across the state on environmental issues.

Ragen's passion for environmental conservation started young, but became a reality in school where she focused on contaminants and their effects on marine life.

Ragen lives and works on Denaʼina Ełnena lands in Southcentral Alaska where she spends her time adventuring into the backcountry on skis and foot.
