Areas of Expertise: Media Relations, Executive Visibility, Brand Awareness

Ella supports the communications strategy and earned media efforts for Defenders’ teams across the Southeast, Rockies & Plains regions, as well as the Energy team.

She has several years of experience in strategic communications, earned media and public relations across a range of sectors including corporate social responsibility and nonprofits. Most recently, she served as a senior communications associate at Feldman Strategies. Prior to this role, she worked with the Social Impact & Sustainability team at Weber Shandwick in New York focused on designing communications strategies for a number of corporations, brands and nonprofits.

Ella holds a BA in Journalism/Mass Communications and Political Science from George Washington University. Outside of work, Ella enjoys taking hikes in Rock Creek Park and building her new home in Washington, DC.
