Sarah joined Defenders in 2026 as the Conservation Law Coordinator, where she provides administrative support to the Biodiversity Law Center team.

Prior to joining Defenders, Sarah worked on Capitol Hill in the offices of Senator Sheldon Whitehouse and Congressman Gabe Amo.

Sarah holds a B.A. in Computer Science and Religious Studies from Brown University. Originally from Connecticut, she has deep ties to New England and has spent much of her life exploring the region. She brings a strong background in outdoor education and enjoys spending as much time outside as possible.
