Emily Siegel
Center for Conservation InnovationAs the Center for Conservation Innovation Coordinator, Emily provides programmatic and technical support to the CCI team while bridging science, technology, and policy across Defenders.
Emily has experience managing wildlife conservation projects ranging from North American birds to African savanna elephants. Her graduate research focused on using conservation technology and community engagement to monitor biodiversity and study animal behavior. She holds a B.A from the University of North Carolina and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, trying new coffee shops, and hanging with her cat, John John.
