Catherine leads the team responsible for securing philanthropic gifts from a loyal and growing group of individuals who care deeply about the mission of Defenders of Wildlife.

She has spent her career raising philanthropic support for environmental conservation and scientific research-based organizations, including Conservation International and the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.

Catherine graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Virginia.
