In 2024, the Colorado lawmakers passed a bill allowing Colorado Parks and Wildlife to reintroduce wolverines. Defenders of Wildlife, Colorado State University Extension, and the CSU Center for Human-Carnivore Coexistence launched a statewide outreach campaign to inform Coloradans about wolverine reintroduction. We conducted surveys before and after each event to assess the effectiveness of our outreach in improving participant knowledge and support for reintroduction; to compare our control and treatment conditions; and to explore public perceptions of wolverines and their reintroduction. This report focuses on descriptive patterns, with additional analyses underway for future publication.
