Shortfin & Longfin Mako Shark at CITES CoP18:
CoP18 Prop. 42 to include the shortfin mako (Isurus oxyrinchus) in CITES Appendix II in accordance with Article II, paragraph 2a, and the longfin mako (Isurus paucus) in Appendix II in accordance with Article II, paragraph 2b.
