As the Finance Assistant, Abigail assists with payroll, accounts payable, and provides support for the Finance department. 

Prior to joining Defenders, Abigail attended the University of Pittsburgh and graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies focused on Ecology, Evolution, and Nonprofit Management. While in school, she participated in research ranging from behavioral studies in crayfish to urban avian nest mapping. She later earned a certificate in Data Analysis and Management. Outside of the workplace she enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, and swimming with her dog Cheese.
