Victoria advocates for imperiled species and their habitat from Defenders’ headquarters in Washington, D.C. Her work has included advancing Endangered Species Act protections for the Florida manatee and Sierra Nevada red fox, as well as opposing the expansion of offshore oil and gas leasing under the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act. 

Victoria joined Defenders as a legal fellow in 2024 after spending a year in Reno, Nevada, as a law clerk for the Honorable Miranda M. Du of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada. Prior to her clerkship, Victoria was a law fellow at the Environmental Law Institute and a legal intern with the California Department of Justice’s Natural Resources Law Section, Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office’s Environmental Protection Division, and the Council on Environmental Quality. 

She holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
