Conservation community loses avid defender of America’s natural resources
WASHINGTON (January 13, 2014) – California Representative George Miller, a longtime champion of America’s environment and natural resources, announced that he will retire at the end of his current term. During his 40-year career on Capitol Hill, Rep. Miller, former chair of the House Natural Resources Committee, became known as one of the country’s most crucial advocates of conservation.
