Brandy Swimeley joined Defenders of Wildlife as the Vice President for Integrated Marketing in December 2015.

Brandy oversees Defenders’ efforts to engage broad and diverse support to preserve our nation’s wildlife and our planet’s biodiversity. She works with her team to implement programs to cultivate constituents through direct mail, email, web, telemarketing, mobile, social media, television, canvassing and other channels. 

Prior to joining Defenders, Brandy worked with many non-profit organizations in support of their fundraising efforts including The Nature Conservancy, Save the Children, Smithsonian, CARE and Environmental Defense Fund. Brandy holds a B.S. in Psychology, with a minor in Biology from Ursinus College. She is the proud mother of two girls and is passionate about leaving a heathy and diverse planet to the next generation.
