As the Coordinator for the Center for Conservation Innovation, Naanibah assists with program work and provides support to CCI staff.

Prior to joining Defenders, Naanibah was an Environmental Specialist within the Office of Technical Assistance at the Eight Northern Indian Pueblos Council, Inc. An organization that assists the 22 Pueblos and Tribes of New Mexico and promotes environmental health and the protection of tribal lands from environmental pollutants. Her primary focus included water quality and data management.

Naanibah graduated in 2017 with a B.A. in Environmental Science from Colorado College. While in college, Naanibah took part in the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program at the University of Washington in Seattle.
