Enter Defenders of Wildlife’s 7th annual photo contest and you could win prizes worth up to $1,000
Looking to show off your nature photography skills or share that once-in-a-lifetime wildlife shot you captured? Defenders’ seventh annual photo contest kicks off January 18 and submissions will be accepted until February 8. After almost 3,000 photos were collected from last year’s contest, Defenders is looking forward to seeing what wonderful photographs we will receive this time around. To be eligible for this year’s cash prizes from B&H Camera, you must submit photos of either wild lands or imperiled wildlife (no captive animal photos will be considered). Some of the key species we especially look for are grizzly bears, wolves, sea turtles and bison – check out the full list here.
Defenders is always looking to display wonderful photography in our many publications, whether in print or online. Your photo submission might end up featured in our quarterly magazine, in a post on one of our social media pages or as a visual addition to one of our blog posts. These images help us to continue to raise awareness about our planets imperiled wildlife and wild lands.
