Thanks to contributions from private citizens and conservation groups, the reward for information leading to an arrest in the fatal poisoning of eight gray wolves in Oregon earlier this year reached nearly $48,000.

"We hope the nearly $48,000 reward will be a strong incentive for someone to do the right thing and come forward with helpful information."
