Danielle has always had a passion for advocating for animals and education. Prior to working at Defenders, she was an Auditor at an animal welfare nonprofit and managed a veterinary clinic. Her passion for animals, both domestic and exotic, have fueled her career and led her to Defenders where she now works as the Operations Coordinator for Field Conservation.

Danielle graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She also studied and completed research around Australia, including on the Great Barrier Reef, while attending the University of Queensland, Australia.
