Mike Senatore is Senior Vice President of Conservation Programs, overseeing Defenders of Wildlife’s Legal, Species Conservation, Coexistence, Land and Habitat conservation efforts. Mike also works alongside Government Relations on policy issues impacting wildlife and habitat.   

Mike has been a public interest environmental attorney and conservation advocate for 30 years and has been with Defenders since 1996. Prior to his current role, Mike served as staff attorney, legal director, vice president and general counsel. He received a B.S. in biology from the University of Maine and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
