Sarah joined Defenders in 2024. She is a fierce advocate for wildlife who works and partners with Congress, federal agencies and other organizations to improve and enact national policy regarding wildlife conservation on private lands.

Prior to joining Defenders, Sarah worked in grant management at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and public policy at Ducks Unlimited. She graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2021 with a BS in Wildlife, Fish and Conservation and a minor in Sociocultural Anthropology.
